Gameaccount skill games for Italy

The games supply agreement between Intralot Italia and the GameAccount Network has seen the launch of a suite of skill-based games in the newly regulated Italian market, including Poker Dice, Gin Rummy, Scopa, Briscola, Dominoes, multi-player Blackjack and Backgammon.

The launch follows the April 23rd approval of the software by the Italian regulator AAMS following a series of technical tests designed to ensure that all regulatory messaging systems comply with the demands of Italian laws governing skill games and the skill games protocols.

Intralot’s Italian business is Italy’s fifth-largest sports betting company by turnover and operates a sports betting and poker website at Intralot.it.

Intralot will become the fourth live member of the GameAccount Italian Network, which has six members in all. The network runs a range of single-table or multi-table tournaments including freerolls, guaranteed money tournaments and heads-up challenges.

The launch means that players on Intralot Italia’s websites Intralot.it and Gioker.it will be able to play skill games online for free or for real money competition tournaments.
